Developing Materials, Establishing Governance, Optimizing Workflows
When approached to support content transfer and optimization for enterprise projects, I begin by evaluating the existing CMS/LMS and identifying operational challenges, such as the absence of governance standards, functional workflows, and performance data.
After the initial analysis and planning, I focus on executing governance by developing foundational templates for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in preparation for change and sustainable operations. I ensure that templates are accessible, user-friendly, and include a variety of styles and layouts to manage diverse training scenarios (e.g., knowledge checks, key metrics). These templates support knowledge transfer as new employees are onboarded and sustain implementation post-change event.
I served as the initial Content Manager on a high-profile health care project. In this role, I worked with project leadership, SMEs, and developers to gather and validate project requirements. As I set up systems to manage the knowledgebase and its contents, I developed governance and a role-specific user manual to support an efficient and total knowledge transfer to an expanding Content Management team.
I had the pleasure to present this manual to project leadership and received praise from the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) vendor.
