Enhancements made to a state's health management platform training to align with updated dashboards and implement adult learning methods (ADDIE, SAM). These training enhancements empowered key health stakeholders to effectively use data analysis and strategic planning to advance statewide goals.
The client had a need for consistent branding, templates, and quality standards across all training deliverables. With five rolling releases and an evolving system, the training team had to continually document changes to navigation and processes.
My firm joined the project to establish sustainable training operations for future upscaling, including planning and scheduling support, developing training resources, and upskilling vendor teams to support ongoing training development.
I brought value to the project through the following roles:
Instructional Designer: Developed design documents and storyboards; developed training videos in Camtasia; mentored colleagues on instructional design concepts, documentation, and presentation; built instructional support documents, QA checklists to support alignment and knowledge transfer.
Accessibility Specialist: Conducted comprehensive 508 audits for print and multimedia content to ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA).
Captured system navigation for providers and care managers to access new statewide provider portal and dashboards.
Developed 6 project templates for various applications (MS Excel, Word, PPT; Camtasia).
Delivered 3 job aids/QRGs, 9 new training videos, and 2 user guides; updated 6 training videos for multiple releases.
Standardized deliverable types across multi-vendor team and contributed to training plan enhancements.
Applied 508 compliance standards for onboarding new operations team members and continuous training development.
